From DOS to Modern Web Technologies A Journey of Teaching Since 1993
I have been actively involved in computer education since 1993, making my journey span over three decades of teaching and mentoring students in the ever-evolving world of technology. I began my career in Banswara, Rajasthan, at a time when computers were still unfamiliar to most people — especially in smaller cities. During those early years, I introduced learners to computers from the ground up, starting with Desktop Publishing (DTP) and core technologies such as C, C++, FoxPro, COBOL, spreadsheet tools like Lotus 1-2-3, word processing using WordStar, and working with the DOS operating system. As technology evolved, I continuously upgraded my skills to stay relevant and future-ready. I later worked with G.R. Educomp (NIIT), where I delivered structured and professional computer training. Alongside this, I conducted workshops and seminars in several Computer Science and Engineering colleges in Ahmedabad, focusing on Python, Web Development, and emerging technologies. My Teaching Philosophy What truly defines my teaching style is a strong conceptual approach. Whenever I teach any subject or technology, I first focus on: What it is Why it is used Where and how it is applied in real life Only after building this conceptual clarity do I move to how to implement it practically. This method helps students not just learn tools, but understand technology deeply, think logically, and apply their knowledge with confidence. My goal is to make learning simple, practical, and career-oriented, while ensuring that students gain the confidence to work on real-world projects and challenges.
